Marty Ann Everly, John DeSantis wedThursday, August 15 The wedding of Miss Marty Ann Everly, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Donald Everly of South Yarmouth, Mass., to John Anthony DeSantis, son of Mr. and Mis. Geno DeSantis of 11 Grafton St. took place Saturday noon at St. Augustin’s Church.\ xMrs. John A. DeSantisThe Rev. John E. Ahreu officiated.Escorted by her father, the bride was attended by Miss Laura Vaillancourt» maid of honor; Mrs. Nancy Everly, her sister-in-law, Mrs. Gena Ferris, sister of the bridegroom, Miss Maureen Trembley and Mrs, Carol Lyons.John Walsh was the best man, and ushers were Fran Ferris, Dan Everly, brother of the bride, Steve Krouse and Pat Druken.The bride wore a gown of white lutesong styled with deep Vee-neckline, long sleeves and embroidered waistline. An embroidered cap held her illusion veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink and white roses.The attendants were gowned in pink and white embroidered gingham with picture hats. The maid of honor carried a single white rose and the bridesmaids carried single pink roses.A reception was held at Hibernian Hall. After a trip to Bermuda, the couple will live in Newport.The bride, a graduate of Middletown High School, is a credit reporter for the Newport Credit Bureau. Mr. DeSantis, a graduate of Rogers High School, attended Bryant College and is employed at tho Newport Creamery plant.
