Orecki-ParkerNuptialsSt. Nicholas Church in Troy was the scene for the wedding of Janet Patricia Orecki and Frederick James Parker at 11 a.m. Aug. 10.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Orecki Sr. of Troy. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick H. Parker of Brant Lake.The Rev. John Kulish was assisted by the Rev. William Fitzgerald at the ceremony.Escorted by her father, the bride wore a nylon organza gown edged with cotton Venise lace and embroidered with schiffli. The gown was fashioned with bishop sleeves and a full-flounced skirt.She wore a matching mantilla train and carried a cascade of w hite gladiolus.Barbara McKinley of Porters Corners was maid of honor. She was attired in a yellow dotted swiss gown and wore a white picture hat with matching ribbon. She carried a basket of roses, daisies, carnations and bachelor buttons.Miss Mary Ann Sturn and Mrs. Joyce McPheeters. bridesmaids, were gowned in apricot and green dotted swiss dresses. They wore white picture hats with matching ribbons.Gerald Parker, brother of the bridegroom, of Guilderland. was best man. Ushers were John Orecki Jr. and Peter Orecki.A wedding reception followed at Mario s TheatreMRS.FREDERICKPARKERRestaurant. The couple later left for a trip to Maine and New Hampshire.They will be at home in Clifton Park.Mrs. Parker received a BA degree from the State University at Oneonta and a MS from the State University at PlattsburghShe is employed as a first grade teacher in the Saratoga Springs school system.Her husband is a graduate of Horicon Central School and received his BS and MS degrees from the State University at Albany.He is employed as a junior high teacher by the Scotia-Glenville Central school system.The parents of the bridegroom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Holiday Inn. Latham.
