Joseph KonenThe organist-solist played “Avc Maria” and “On This Day, Oh Beautiful MotherThe alter was decorated with white gladiolas, pom poms, carnations, and baby’s breath.Given in marriage by her brother, Walter, the bride wore a white full length traditional tiered lace gown with a chapel length train. She wore a shoulder length veil and carried a cascading bouquet of white carnations, roses, andorchids.Attending as Matron of Honor was Mrs Bonnie Di-Domenico, aunt of the bride. She wore a pale pink gown of silk organza and carried a cascading bouquet of pink carnations.Bridesmaid Mrs. Jean Stewart, sister-in-law of the bride, wore a powder blue empire gown of silk organza and carried a cascading bouquet of blue carnations.Best man was Fred Shinhearl. I sher was Fred Stewart, brother of the bride.An evening reception was held at Royalview Hall in East-lake for about 200 guests.The newr Mrs Long is a 1969 graduate of South High School and is employed in the office of Curtis Industries.
