THE CHRONICLEAttendants Named for Wedding of Barbara Sharp and Glenn SmithBeing announced today arc the attendants for the wedding of Barbara Jane Sharp and Milton Glenn Smith. The nuptials have been calendared for September 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the First Methodist church of Port Neches. Miss Sharp is the daughter of Paul Lewis Sharp of this city and the late Mrs. Sharp. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert L. Smith. Sr.. of this city.The Rev. L. A. Reavis of Alvin, former pastor of the Port Neches church, will be officiant. A program of nuptial music will be played by Margaret Dalton and she will also be accompanist for the soloist, Dr. Houston F. Byrd.Mrs. Thayer 1^. Sharp will attend her sister-in-law as matron of honor and Barbara Lucille Smith, sister of the prospective bridegroom, will be maid of honor. Kathy Smith, niece of the bridegroom-to-be will be flower- girl.Clovis V. Smith will attend as best man with Nathan Smith, aclassmate of the bridegroom-elect at the University of Texas, as groomsman. Thayer Randall Sharp, brother of the bride-elect, and Herbert L. Smith. Jr.. brother of the prospective bridegroom will be candlelighters. Lt. Donald Brod-nnx of Biloxi. Miss., will usher.Following the church ceremony, a reception will be held in the Nederland-Port Neches Woman's clubhouse at Nederland. Mrs. Donald Brodnax will serve the cake and Notma Marie Russell will preside at the punch howl. Mrs. Lowell A. Dalton will register the guests. Others in the house party will in-clude Mrs. G. II. P. Van Zandt. Mrs. Walton Simpson and Mrs. N. D. Purcell.Following a wedding trip to New Orleans, Biloxi and several Florida cities, the young couple will make their home at 1200 W. 25th St.. Parents of the bride and bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Yoast of Port Arthur and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Bush
