ilitary RitesReadatCampMiss Mirian Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mr*. F. E. Miller of Philadelphia, Penn., and First Sgt. K. H. Kuhns, also of Philadelphia, now of the 510th Military Police Battalion, were united in marriage in a military wedding Saturday at 5 p. m, by Chaplain James H. Simpson. The ceremony was read in Chapel 11 at Camp Maxey, with a large number of friends in attendance.The entire Company B of the 510th Military Police Battalion' was present and formed a color guard for the bride and groom. Pfc. James E. Smith, organist, played aj a processional, “Reverie,1* by Debussy, and as other nuptial music, Oh Promise Me, and “I Love You Truly,” from the Bridal Chorus by Wagner, during the service. As a recessional, Pfc. Smith rendered Mendelssohn's wedding march.The bride, given in marriage by Capt. Martin E. Francis, Company B commander, wore a wedding gown of white marquisette with a finger tip veil attached to a tiara of lilies of the valley, a string of pearls, and carried an arm bouquet of white gladioli, tied with satin ribbons,Mrs. C. Beitz of New Brunswick, N. J. was matron of honor and Sgt. Clayton Shelly, also of Company B was best man. Mrs. Beitz wore a pink chiffon dress and carried a bouquet of purple asters.Other guests at the wedding were: Lt. and Mrs. John Tieff, Mrs. M. E, Francis, and Mrs. Mark Dancer.A bridal dinner was held for the bride and groom at the Gibraltar Hotel following the ceremony.The couple will make their home at 249 S. Main St,
