MICHAEL ROY COTONMarried In Flinthdv61.At a nuptial mass in St. Mat* thew’s Church at Flint on Saturday morning, Aug. 20, Bonita Kay Dagenais, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Dagenais of Flint, became the bride of Michael Roy Cowen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy T- Cowen of Marquette, former Sault residents.The Rev. Paul DeRose of St. Leo's Church officiated at the 11 o'clock rites. James MacLar-en. of Sault Ste. Marie was soloist.The bridal gown of silk organza over peau de soie was fashioned on A lines with a bateau neckline, an empire waist, and watteau train. The kabuki sleeves were accented with appliques and seed pearls which were repeated on her mantilla. She carried a cascade of white roses centered with a white orchid.Attendants for the bride were Mary Leupnitz of Moran as maid of honor, Kathy Bennette of Roscommon, Mrs. ArthurWooley of Flint and Mrs. Thomas Talsma of Toledo, sister of the bridegroom, as bridesmaids:/and Cathy Tlbor of Marquette I the bride’s cousin, who wa;Earns Degreekmflower girl.Their gowns of turquoise sill organza were replicas of ihlt; bridal dress and they wore ap pliqued mantillas. Their flower were colonial bouquets of whiti roses and turquoise carnationsJoseph R. Gray of Dearbori performed the duties of bes man. Jon P. Tibor of Imla: City, a cousin of the bride Thomas Talsma of Toledo am Philip Fleming of Grand Rapid were groomsmen. Ringbeare was Christopher Towery o Flint, the bride's cousin.The Wheel makers Skylari room at Bishop Airport was th? scene of a reception for 25C guests. Mary Havican, a cousir of the hride, had charge of the gifts.After a wedding trip to CanadE and Niagara Falls, the couple will make their home at 349; Ridgecliffe Drive, Flint Boll will teach in Carmon Schoo District, The bride is a gradual* of Flint Junior College am Northern Michigan University at Marquette.
