Tyrone Power, film star, gave noon luncheon guests and employes at the Connor hotel a thrill today on his first visit to Joplin since passing through here Thursday en route to Pineville and Noel, location of the Jesse James technicolor picture in which he has the leading role.Accompanied by three friends, Pojiver arrived from a sight-seeing motor car trip at 12:30 o'clock, and departed immediately after lunch.Hurries Back to Job.I expect to begin work this afternoon/' he said, explaining his haSte in leaving the city.
