KELL—HOUCHINA wedding; unusually auspicious in its promise of happiness was that solemnized yesterday (Thursday) evening at eight o’clock at the residence of Mrs. Laura Houchin in Oakland City when her youngest daughter, Miss Esther, was united in marriage to Mr. Raymond Kell of Princeton. The dwelling was appropriately decorated for the occasion but the cere mony was performed in the presence of only the relatives of the contracting parties.The bride for many years was a resident of Petersburg and has many devoted friends in this place. She is the daughter of the late C. D. Houch-in who served four years as. County Treasurer and wus postmaster for eight years. She is a graduate of both the Oakland City High Cchool and Oakland City City College and is a young lady possessing all the varied accomplishments that go to make up the ideal American woman.Mr. Kell is also a graduate of the Oakland City College and was soldier with the American Expeditionay Forces, having just returned from France a few weeks ago. He is a young man of exceptionally good habits and much ability whose friends say has a most promising future.Mr. and Mrs. Kell have gone to Robinson, 111., to make their home j ^ where Mr. Kell has a position as j * principal of the Junior High School.
