Mr. Josiah Lamb and Mrs. Jane Lamb were united in marriage yesterday afters noon by Rev. Charles Hutchinson, at his study. Mr. Lamb is eighty-four years old and one of (he pioneers of Floyd county, having resided in the county over seventy years. 11 is residence is on the pike, between Mooresville and Galena, and he is quite wealthy and is widely known. IIi3 bride was the widow of the late Clark Lamb, is about fifty years old, and a most estimable woman. In his old age Mr. Lamb needed a helps mate to cheer hiB declining years. He has secured one who will boner the wifely relation.
