Couple Exchange VowsDebra Jean Foss and Frank Guy Camp were united in marriage August 5 in the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of Levelland. The Rev. John Holmes officiated the double-ring ceremony.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Foss of Levelland and Mr. and Mrs. FrankCamp of Brownfield.Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a formal length gown of Ivory organza over satin. The fashioned deep scoop neckline and full bishop sleeves with deep cuffs were accented in Venice lace motifs. The empire bodice was fashioned inheavy lace with a full A-line skirt and extended chapel length train. A band of lace formed the hemline. Appliquedheavy lace motifs with seed pearls enhanced the skirt and train. The headpiece was of matching lace with a Juliet cap holding a loose two-tier three-quarter length veil of ivory organza and edged in tiny seed pearls. The bride carried a colonial bouquet of apricot Sonia roses, ivory roses and baby’s breath with brown velvet ribbon streamers.In keeping with tradition, the bride carried an ivory handkerchief belonging to the bridegroom’s grandmother as something old. Something new was a bracelet that was a gift from the bridegroom, something blue was a blue ribbon on her garter, and something borrowed was a pair of diamond earrings borrowed from a friend. She also wore pennies in her shoes minted in the year of the bride’s and bridegroom’s birth.Attending for the bride was Dixie Foss, sister of the bride as maid of honor, and Gay Camp, sister of the bridegroom as bridesmaid. Sharon Camp, cousin of the bridegroom attended as flower girl; Jeff Southhall as candle-lighter, and Lori and Brad Southhall as ring-bearers.Attendants for the bride wore formal dresses of dark brown with A-lined skirts with ivory lace over satin bodices. Each carried silk apricot roses with baby’s breath and greenery, and also wore apricot roses in their hair.Attending for the bridegroom were Carter Burkeholder and RandyWahlberg, both of Houston and groomsmen. The bridegroom’s father attended as best man. Ushers were Ricky Baggett and Keith Kirk.The couple pledged vows before an altar consisting of a large arrangement of gladioliand spider mums and baby’s breath. Two arrangements of the same, flanked the altar standing on French columns. Two brass tree caldelabras stood in the background holding greenery and ivory tapers. The pews were marked by apricot carnations, baby's breath and brown velvet ribbon.Traditional wedding music was provided by Mrs. Pat McCutchin.A reception followed the wedding in the Fellowship Hall of the Church.The table was covered by an ivory lace cloth over ivory satin. Apricot ribbons decorated the cloth in front. A five branch candelabrum holding apricot daisies, mums and white roses stood in the center of thetable. Brass and crystal appointments were used. The three-tieredcake was iced in ivory icing and decorated with fresh apricot flowers.
