N. Tillman and Mrs. Rowe Sudduth entertained in the Tillman home.The home was decorated with a large Grecian urn holding mixed red and pink summer flowers. Other focal points held arrangements of multi-colored grapes.The tables were covered with pink polished cotton cloths and pink and red flower napkins and white china and red water goblets also carried out the color scheme.Arrangements of red carnations and pink tube roses were the center pieces for the breakfast tables and red and pink place cards marked each guest’s place.Miss Kendrick, who was attired m a black and white checked dress with matching accessories, was presented with, a piece of silver by the hostesses.Sharing the occasion with Miss Kendrick was her mother, Mrs Wallace Kendrick; Mrs. B W. Clary, grandmother of the honoree; Mrs. J. R. Moody Jr., mother of the bridegroom-elect; Mrs C. L Jinks Jr., Miss Sue Jinks, Mrs. Glenn Cooper, Miss Cheryl Kendrick, Mrs, Ronney Hamlin, Mrs. Fred Main, Mrs. Lamar Sikes, Mrs. H. S. Sikes, Mrs. R, E Kelly, Mrs. Mike Anderson, Mrs. Buford Ennis, Mrs. Joe Morris, Mrs. John Locke, Mrs. Glenn Cooper Jr., and Mrs. Michael CowgilLMiss Kendrick will become the bride of James R. Moody HI Saturday.
