PAUL NORMAN HOLLEY(Little Photo)Winters Sunbeams Attended Day Camp At Ballinger ParkThirty seven boys and girls and their sponsors from four churches attended the day camp for 8 - year - old Sunbeams at the Ballinger park on Thursday, sponsored by the Womans Missionary Union of Runnels Baptist Association.Upon registering each child was assigned to an Indian tribe. A tour was made of the Indian pictographs at Paint Rock and the pictures were explained to the group by Mrs. Frank Campbell. Returning to the park, Mrs.Loyd Roberson taught the book, Skias-Chui, which means Sunbeam. The day was concluded after lunch by making Totem poles and a swim. Mrs. George Poe was in charge of arrangements.Those attending from Winters were Debra Balke, Janey Bal-kum, Denise Carroll, Freida Sellers, Gwene Crouch, Brenda Easterly, Mark Await, Greg Poe, Bobby Scott Jackson, Cindy Burns of Odessa, Emmelina and Mary Ortegon, Jesse Waldrop, and Sylvia Lopez. Mrs. Bert Humble and Mrs. Carson Easterly accompanied the group.Carol Ann Smith, Paul Norman Holley Recite Vows At Church of Christ Fri.wMarriage vows were repeated at the Church of Christ Friday August 14, at 8 o’clock in the evening, uniting Carol Ann Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim C. Smith, and Paul Norman Holley of Fort Worth.The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. A. D. Holley of Fort Worth and the late Mr. Holley.Officiating for the double ring ceremony was, L. L. Gieger, minister of the West Berry Church of Christ of Fort Worth. Church decorations were candle trees and baskets of gladiolas. Pews were marked with candles.An a capella girls chorus, directed by Mrs. Homer Hodge, sang ’‘Whither Thou Goest,” ‘‘Wedding March,” ‘‘Oh Promise Me,” and ‘‘True Love.”Candielighters were John Smith, brother of the bride and Bob Francis of Fort Worth, cousin of the groom. Flower girl was Jan Smith, sister of the bride, and ring bearer was Chris Christian of Winters.‘Arthur B. Holley of Fort Worth served his brother as best: man and David Smith, cousin of the bride, was usher. Groomsmen were James Per-menter of Fort Worth, cousin of the groom and Lee Stroup of Fort Worth.Maid of honor was Judy Smith, sister of the bride and bridesmaids were Marilyn Mitchell of El Paso, cousin of the bride, and Janelle Rice, of Fort-Worth. Junior bridesmaids were Linda Smith, sister of the bride and Billie Frances, cousin of the groom, of Fort Worth.The brides attendants wore dresses of rose honey peau de soie, fashioned with rounded necklines, long sleeves and bell skirts. They wore crown headpieces with circular veils and carried bouquets of midget carnations and lace. The flower girl wore a pink dress of organza over cotton satin and headpiece of flowers.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of imported hand - clipped chantilly lace. The scalloped neckline and entire front of the gown were accented with pearls and sequins. The moulded bodice designed with long pointed sleeves topped the bouffant skirt of deep lace tiers which descended into a chapel train. Her veil of illusion studded with pearls and fashioned with blusher veil, fell from a crown of pearls. She carried an arrangement of ste-phanotis, centered with a white orchid. Also in her bouquet was a white handkerchief which belonged to her great-great aunt, the late Mrs. J. W. Parr.A reception was held in the home of the bride’s parents.Mrs. Joel Butts registered the guests and Mrs. Arthur Holley of Fort Worth, served the cake. Miss Elaine Plate of Crane and Miss Marcella Porter of Arlington alternated in iadeling the punch.Others in the house party were Mrs. Shirley Howard, Mrs. Bob Ham mack of Snyder, Mrs. Gar-Jan Mayo of Galveston and Miss Peggy Currey of Arlington. TheMartha SS Class Held Meeting In Ralph Lloyd HomeMartha Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church held its regular meeting Wednesday in the Ralph Lloyd home at 5:30 o’ clock in the afternoon.A period of visitation was enjoyed.The President, Mrs. C. G. Meeks conducted a business session and Miss Eunice Polk led the diversion.Refreshments were served to Mesdames C. S. Jackson, C. O. Rodgers, Bill Kornegay, C. G. Meeks, Ralph Lloyd, W. S. Cooke, Betty Baldwin, Vallie Brannon and Miss Eunice Polk.rice girls were Phyllis and Pamela Smith.The bride changed to a three-piece Italian Knit suit of goldwith accessories of brown and she wore the orchid corsage from her bridal bouquet.The bride is a graduate of Winters High School and holds a degree from Abilene Christian College. She is a teacher in the Fort Worth school system.Mr. Holley is a graduate of Paschal High School in Fort Worth and attended Arlington State College. He is employed with Scooter’s Radio Supply in Fort Worth.Mr. and Mrs. Holley will reside at 4769 South Ridge Terrace in Fort Worth.The bridegroom’s mother hosted the rehearsal dinner in the Ivy Room of the Texas Grill in Ballinger on Thursday evening.A hot-water heating system was added to the White House in 1853.
