The bride is Die former Billie Jo Be* Compte. — Justin Photo Marl, Vancouver.Salkum Home Is Scene of Dailey-LeCompte WeddingSALKUM — Miss Billie Jo Le-Compte became the bride ot Jarrett Dailey Jr. .of Vancouver in a single ring ceremony Aug. 8 a I the SaJkum home of the Larry Flemings, si ft ter and brother-in-law of the bride.The bride is the daughter of Keet LcCompte of this city and the groom is the son of Mrs, JuliaDowell of Vader and Jarrett Dailey of Scottsburg, Ore.The ceremony was read by WH-l.iam Damron in a setting of roses, gladioli mnd ferns. Before the ceremony, Jean Mae sang “With These Hands'* and Always, She was accompanied by Car^j Lee Fleming, niece of the bride.Given in marriage by her father, the bride selected a light gray ftuit, pink blouse and hat and navyblue shoes. She wore a corsage,of baby orchids and carried a white Bible topped by pink sweet peas.The mai«d of honor was Dora Ann Major, cousin of the bride, who wore a pink suit and a corsage of pink carnations. Her bouquet was of sweet peas,Judy Fleming, also a niece of the bride, was the c.andlelighter and passed the guest book.A reception immediately follow* ed the ceremony with Mrs, -W« E, Skelton, Chehalls, aunt of the bride, pouring. The cake was cut and served by Mrs. G; C. Price, South Bend, aunt of the bride.The groom graduated from the piano hospital in Vancouver in June. The newlyweds will make their first home in Astoria, Ore., after Sept. X.
