Parsons united in marriage Miss Elsie Peterson, of Alden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H- Peterson, to Mr. Theodore r.rabtree, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Crabtree, of Iowa Falls.The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a white satin dress with finger-tip veil. She carried an orchid with streamers on a white Bible.Mrs. Glen Nachazel, sister of the bride, atended the bride as matron of honor. She wore a blue satin floor length dress. Miss Ruth Lauterbach was the bridesmaid and was attired in a yellow dotted Swiss floor length gown. Roth girls wore floral arrangements of white carnations in their hair.Gllt; n Crabtree, brother of the groom and Eugene Peterson, brother of the bride, were the groins attendants. The ushers were Forrest Crabtree and Ervin Peterson.Lorraine Crabtree played nuptial music: and accompanied KathrynCrabtree, who sang, “Because”, and “The Lords Prayer.”Miss Gustafson and Miss Johnson of Lytton, lit the candles and Joyce Cecola, of Chicago and Darlene Peterson, of Waterloo, were flower girls. Benny Olson, of Dows, was ring bearer.A reception was held in the church basement for about 200 guests. A three-tiered wedding cake was served.The newlyweds left immediately afterwards for a wedding trip to the west coast.Miss Marjorie Crabtree sang, “Lifes Railroad to I-Ieaven” at the reception. She was accompanied by Lorraine Ciabtree.The bride graduated from the Pope-joy high school and Ellsworth Junior college.’She taught first and second grades at Geneva and Lytton.The groom graduated from the Rad-cliffe high school and and served 21 months in service in the U. S.
