BRYAN ELDER WEDS LAS VEGAS GIRL IN CEREMONY YESTERDAY AFTER GRADUATIONBryan Elder, son of Mrs, Dona C, Elder of this oily, and Miss Dorothy Gifford, daughter of Mr, and Mrs, Frank Gifford of Las Vegas, were united in marriage yesterday afternoon in a 5 o'clock ring ceremony performed in the bride’s home. Rev. C. A. Loris of Clovis officiated.The wedding followed shortly after the graduation of the bridegroom from the New Mexico Normal University of Las Vegas. Elder is a graduate of the ’31 class of the Clovis Highschool.Lovely garden flowers were arranged prettily throughout the rooms. The bride was attired in a white tailored suit and carried a large bouquet of pink and white flowers. Mrs. Harold Gifford was the bridesmaid and Harold Gifford, brother of the bride, was the best man.The couplor wJU make their home at Artesia where Elder will teach in the high school.Mrs. Dona Elder, Mrs. C. A. Lorts, Mrs. H. C. Thomas and daughter, Alice Margaret, Miss Ethel Shield, Mrs. W. H. McConnell and Miss Frances Ruth Elder, of Clovis, attended.The Social CALENDARMondayAmerican Legion Auxiliary business meeting at Hotel Cfovls tonight at 7:30 o’clock. Business and -installation of officers.Women’s Auxiliary of the V. F. W. meeting at 8 o’clock tonight at Veterans' Hall for regular business session.Mable McCall Circle Meets YesterdayMrs. Jesse. Brizendlne was hostess yesterday afternoon to the Mable McCall Circle of the First Baptist church.During the business session, It was decided that the circle would buy a dozen towels for the Baptist hospital and would give some clothes to the W.M.U.'s adopted, girl in the Por-tales orphanage.The hostess then served a lovely
