Society and Clubs.f.„—.—I A wedding which many Chillicoth-jeans will be interested la was sol-• emnized at 2 o’clock this afternoon at the Leland Hotel in Springfield, Hi, when Buel Swope, son of Dr. and Mrs. W. A. Swope of Wheeling and Miss Vera M. Tomlin, daughter of Mr. and| Mrs. L. C. Tomlin, Mechanicsbnrg, 111., were united in marriage. The Tomlins are former residents of Browning, Mo., where Mr. Swope first became acquainted with his bride. Mr. and Mrs. Swope departed immediately following the ceremony for Buffalo, Niagara Falls and other eastern points. They expect to be at home on Mr. Swope’s 500 acre farm near Mechanicsburg about September jl5th.
