He has been in town every day preparing his Washington street residence and moving in some things prepatory to turning over the county farm to his successor, Sept. 1st.He was down hearted Wednesday. On going home at noon he found his only remaining daugh ter, Ava, and her affiance, Prank Bodine, ready to drive away to Danville, where they intended to be married at once. The matchwas not objectionable but Georgewanted them to wait a few days and have a quiet wedding at19 home. This they could not see 2 ! in their program and they drove14to D^nvdle, where thsy were »51 united in marriage Wednesday '4 evening. No wonder George7 , prted., Thi* the *%st of bis 7 ' *h?ee daughter* and children at 7 .home.12 Both are estimable young peo-9 pie and will live on George's farm,10 north of town.
