Stoker-FlemingWHITESBURG — Pamela Jane Stoker, Eiderton, became the bride of Brian Date Fleming, Shelocta, during a July 20, 1991, wedding ceremony in the Whitesburg United Methodist Church.Pastor Paul Dunn officiated at the 2 p.m. double ring service. Musical selections were performed by organist Karen Olsen and soloist Elaine Kerr.Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stoker, Eiderton, and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Fleming, Shelocta, are the couple’s parents.Escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride appeared in an elegant white satin gown featuring an Alencon lace bodice embellished with pearls and sequins, puffy shoulders, and fitted ballgown sleeves. Her redingote skirt swept into a full cathedral train accented with matching pearls and sequins.A crystal tiara held the bride’s cathedral veil detailed with embroidery and sequins. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses, red mini carnations and ivy accented with iridescent ribbon.Barb Horel, Shelocta, served as her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Diane Roeeo, Indiana; Carla Townsend, Spring Church; Marlene Pyle, Gastown, and Kandi Altman, Shelocta.Jennifer Lynch, Seward, acted as her cousin's flower girl.The groom chose Bryan Tedesco, South Bend, as his best man. Ushers’ duties were performed by Bob Williams, Ford City; Joe Stoker, brother of the bride, Eiderton; and Keith Fleming, Gastown, and Dave Fleming, Shelocta, brothers of the groom.Christopher Bish, cousin of the groom, Ford City, acted as the couple’s ring bearer.A buffet reception in the Kittanning Township Fire Hall, Kittanning, followed the ceremony.The bride is a 1985 graduate of Eiderton High School and Kittanning Beauty School. She is employed as a hair stylist by J.C. Penney Styling Salon, Indiana.Her fiance, also a 1985 graduate of Eiderton High School, works for Progressive Steel Pouring Systems, Lower Burrell.The couple is residing in Avonmore.
