David Rostron takes Orem bride;making home at Flaming GorgeMaking their home at Flaming Gorge for the summer arc recently married Mr. and Mrs. David Rostron.Miller family enjoys picnicThe J. A. Miller family enjoyed an outing Saturday, when members of the family motored to Hoggle Zoo in Salt Lake City. A picnic lunch was enjoyed at a park by Mr. and Mrs. Miller. Mr. and Mrs Woodrow Weight and family. Springville; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller and family of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Boy-aelc and family of Covina, California.Following a tour of the zoo the party went to Salt Lake for a swim. A sevier wind c.irne up while the party was swimming in the lake and Mr and Mrs. Boyack as well as Mr. Weight, were blown out into the deep part of the 1 ike. Mrs. Boyack made it to shore but the two men were swept farther onto the lake and were later rescued by a sight-seeing boat that had been out on the lake. The rescue was a welcome relief for the survivors who had been wind swept with the salty water for some 30 or 40 minutes.fluent6 . .Family reunionThe couple recited marriage vows in a garden ceremony performed by the grandfather of the bride. Bishop AJton F. Groneman, at the home of the bride's parents.The new Mrs. R stron is the former Miss Lynette Grone-man, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack L. Groneman, Orem. Mr. Rostron's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ira Rostron of this city.The attractive young bride was gowned in u full-length model of traditional white satin for her wedding. It was designated with lily-point sleeves and be! 1-skirt with a large bow at the bustle back. Her veil of nylon net fell from a crown of seed pearls and she held a bridal bouquet of pink rosebuds and miniature blue mums.Attending the bride were her sisters. Mrs. Saundra McCantl-less and Patricia Groneman both attired in powder blue serano. They carried a large blue chrysanthemum.Melvin Rostron of Spring-vflle was best man to his brother.An open house honored the couple immediately after the wedding rites, hosted by the bride's grandmother.
