Mary Lou Hall Wed To Carl Jeffers In Cooks MillsThe marriftft of Miss Mary ton I Hall and Carl Jeffers was an event I erf Sunday afternoon in the Fleas* I ant Grove Baptist Church at Cooks', IMills. ILarge bouquets of pink and white I gladioli decorated the altar before Iwhich the double ring ceremony* was Iperformed by the Rev. Floyd Dor- Ifis. IMrs. Donris sang Always before I the wedding party entered and The I Lord’s Prayer during the service, I with Mrs. W, P. Ashworth playing I her accompaniments on the piano. I lfiss Patricia lfanee, at the organ, I played the bridal and wedding Imarches. 1Mrs. Richard Eliott of Humboldt, | matron of honor, wore a pink cos- I tume. Fred Duncan waa beet man I and trhers were Donald Hal! of | Areola, a brother of the bride, and James Jeffers of Btrasburg, a brother of the groom.Kenneth Kali escorted his daughter and gave her in marriage. She wore a waits length gown of embroidered nylon with a sleeveless bodice whose boat neckline waa edged with pleated nylon tulle. The full skirt was edged with a flounce of pleated nylon. The bride wore a white lace hat with rhinestone trim and carried a lavender orchid encircled with white gladioli and tied with satin streamers.Immediately after the church service, a reception was held In the church basement which was decorated * with arrangements of garden flowers. The three-tiered wedding cake was topped with a miniature • bridal pair. Misses Frances and I •baron Jeffers, sisters of the groom I and Mrs. James Meddin, served the I cake and punch and Mrs. James 1 Jeffers of Btrasburg presided at the guest book. / *Mr. and Mrs. Jeffers left for g rseveral days* wedding trip to the 1 Oearit refion, from which they have returned, and are making their 0home at IBM B. 16th 8t.Mrs. Jeffers is a daughter of,Mr. Ii and Mrs.; Kenneth W. Hall of Ar- a cola and is a graduate of Areola t High School. She is employed at the \ General Electric pi Ant in this city, t Mr. Jeffers is a son of Mr. and Mriu Melvin Jeffers of Rural Route j 4, Mattoon.
