Heckler Spend Honeymoon In Southern StatesSPENDING a two week honeymoon touring the southern ^ states are newlyweds, Mr, and Mrs. Theodore John Heckler who were married Sunday afternoon at 3:30 in Monroeville’s Congregational Community Church. Mrs. Heckler is the former Miss Virginia Ann Clayton, daughter of Mrs. John D. Clayton of Monroeville and the late Mr. Clayton and Mr. Heckler, who makes his home on Carr-st in this city, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Heckler of Bucyrus.Rev. Elwyn Owen of Lima was ------celebrant for the nuptial service performed before an altar banked with palms and tall baskets of gladioli and asters. Seven-branched candelabra flanked this arrangement. Pews were marked with greens and tied with white satin ribbon.Organist, Mrs. D. G. Van Horn accompanied Louis Celini of Crestline who sang Because,” “Thine Alone” and “I Love Thee” before the ceremony, and during the ^ceremony he offered The Lord’s Prayer.”Escorted to the altar by her grandfather, Floyd Harris of Bloomingville, the bride was gowned in Chantilly lace over shimmering satin which was accented by a nylon tulle diamond flounce. Her sweeping cathedral train was of nylon. The sheer yoke was designed with folds of nylon tulle finished with seed pearls.Designed by Valli, her headdress was a ehantilly lace cap, from which the nylon illusion fingertip veil flowed. Her cascade bouquet of white roses was centered with a white orchid and streamers. The groom’s gifts, pearl necklace and earrings were her only jewelry, and the handkerchief which she carried was presented to her by her aunt, Mrs. Lynn Harris.Maid of honor, Miss Betsy Clay ton, the bride’s sister, and bridesmaids Miss Winifred Auble of Norwalk, Miss Jean Alspaugb of Lima, Gamma Phi Beta sorority sisters; Miss Patricia Koch of Norwalk, close friend of the bride and the groom's sister, Miss Mary Louise Heckler of Bucyrus, were gowned identically in Joel designed halter-style gowns of nylon illusion over taffeta. Sheer stole jackets completed their ensembles, and their headdresses were of pleated nylon. Colors of their outfits were French lilac for Miss Clayton and Capri Violet for thebridesmaids. Their fan arrangement bouquets consisted of lavender and purple orchids with ivy streamers. The rhinestone earrings which the five attendants wore were the gifts of the bride.Junior bridesmaid Miss Mary Lou Harris, cousin of the bride, wore a gown styled identically to the other attendants’ in the same shade of violet. A gold locket was given her by the bride.Best man for his brother-in-law was Willard Adams of Greenville, O. John D. Clayton, brother of the bride, John T. Auble of Avery, Willard Denzer of Bucyrus and John Mahoney of, this city, were ushers.The navy blue lace dress which was selected by Mrs. Clayton for her daughter's wedding was complemented with pink accessories and a corsage of pink sweetheart roses. The groom’s mother, Mrs. Heckler, had a dress of black and white, with purple accessories, and white rose corsage.In the yard of the Clayton residence, guests assembled for the reception, while the bride’s table was placed indoors. An heirloom linen tablecloth, which belonged to the bride’s maternal greatgrandmother, covered the table at which Mrs. Eugene Koch of Monroeville, the bride’s cousin, Miss Doris Young of Lima, a sorority sister, Mrs. Willard Adams of Greenville, sister of the groom and Mrs. Wilfred Cline of Mori roeville, friend of the bride, pre sided.Mr. and Mrs. Heckler will mak their home at 1503 Carr-st. She i a graduate of Monroeville Higl school, and also of Bowling Greei State University, where she wa affiliated with Gamma Phi Bet sorority. A member of the fac ulty of the Sandusky publi schools, Mrs. Heckler is a third grade teacher at Osborne schoolHer husband is an alumnus o Bucyrus High school and Heidel berg College.
