the morse-hooremann weddinqPratty Home Wedding Uniting Two of LeMars Popular Young People.The hone of Mr. and Mrs. (J. N. Morse at 617 Ninth street was the scene of a pretty home wedding Thursday evening, when their daughter, Miss Nellie B. Morse and Mr. Olarence lloornemau weru uniled in marriage in the presence of about forty guests. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. A. Randall, pastor of the lurst Methodist church. The homo was beautifully decorated In the wedding colors of red and white, banks of sum-mor Rowers were 111 evidence in prolusion, the ceremonial parlors being most elaborate in tloral decorations. The large east bay window was converted Into a beautiful Moral arch beneath which the wedding ceremony was performed.The gnestswere received at the door by Mrs. Morse who directed them to the parlor. Promptly at 6 o’clock the strains of Kadeder’s bride’s promenade wedding niarjh played by Miss Edith North way, resouuded through .therooms announcing the coming of - the wedding party. Six little girls dressed In white acted as ribbon girls and with the outstretched colors of red und white formed a pathway for the bride and attendants. The bride was ,, escorted by her father, and wasaitired I in a beautiful gown of white lansdown ; with lace trimmed yoke and wore a i bridal veil, the bride and bridegroom . kueellng during the ceremony, the r ring service being used. She carriedi a bouquet of white and red roses and was attended by Miss Pearl Morse who wore a costume of cream silk mull. Mrs. Chas. LaFleur, of Hastings, Neb, another siBter of the bride was matron of honor. She was attired in a pretty dress of white Bilk mull. The ribbon girls were membeis of Miss Morse s Sunday school olass and were Lillian Strlegel, Ella Bogen, Kittle Smith, Sophia Hoornemann, Jennie Perryand Helen Bray. ^ _ _ .The bridegroom was attended byhis brother, Mlndert Hoornemann.The most cordial congratulationsfollowed the ceremony uniting thispopular young couple and a delicious. i three course supper was served afterlithe congratulations and the remainder51 of tho evening was spent In games andother social amusements.The newly wedded couple left on the evening train from Dalton foravisit at Bruokiugs and other Sotth Dakota points, the bride’s going away gown being of natty tan Mannish cloth The bride and groom have lived In LeMars a great many years aucl both are popular in social and church circles' During the past two years the bridehas been a teacher in the public schools of LeMars and has mot with marked success as a teacher. The groom is a popular young business man who by his own energy has built up a very suc-cesssul business and is highly esteemed by all. He is the proprietor of the Palace Steam laundry.The out of town guests were: Mr. and Mr s. W. A. Julian of Merrill, Nit-taret Aalfs of Fort Dodge, Mr. and *vi rs. T. B. Oassen and Roy add HazelCassen of Millnervillo, Mrs. Chas. La-Fleur of Hastings, Neb.The young people will be at home on North Clark street where they havebuilt-a pretty cottage, after September first.They received many valuable and useful presents which will ornament their bo nib and bo cherished mementos.A Beautiful Marble Lady.The boauiiiful Marble Lady, carved by a skilled Indian sculptor under the sunny skies of Italy, arrived Augustefrom the land across the Atlantic.
