Miss Loreen Daniel, bride elect of Steve Green, was hon ored with a tea on Sunday after noon August 3rd between the hours of 2:30 to 5:00 o’clock in the home of Mrs. John Rogers. 'Co-hostesses were Mrs. Wayne ‘Rogers, Mrs. Will T. Jeffus, M Miss Deanie Rogers, Mrs. Bes sie Hall, Mrs. Omer Knight, and Mrs. Paul Watkins. Loreen, wearing a trousseau fares of pink polyester knit, re served the guests with her mother Mrs. Wiley Daniel. The hosteries presented corsages of white miniature carnations to the honoree and her mother. Miss Schree Rogers invited the guests to register in thej bride’s book. The serving table was covered with a lace cloth ‘and centered with an arrange ment of mixed flowers. Other arrangements of yellow mums and greenery were placed points of vantage. Assisting ‘with the serving courtesies were ‘Mrs. Ken Miles, Mrs. Bessie Hall, Mrs. Paul Watkins, and Mrs. Will T. Jeffus. Mrs. Omer Knight invited the guests to view the many lovely gifts on display. Out of town guests were Mrs. Naoma Nolan ,and daughter Brenda and Mrs. Ann Andrew from Magnolia, Mrs. Mary Warren from, McNeil, and Mrs. Jona Bass from McNeil, Circle C Trail Ride Enjoyed Friday nate, ME 15, members of the Circle Riding Club enjoyed iced cold watermelon and a trail ride down the Mt. Holly Road. There were over 25 horses and riders. On Sat., Aug. 23, There will, i be a Playday at the Arena on Hwy 79. Registration starts 4:00 Events at 5:00. The concession stands will be open.
