Wedding vows were exchanged before a flower-decked altar in St. Barnabas Church, Medicine Hat when Sandra Eleanor Brown became the bride of Wayne Thomas Craven in a re cent afternoon ceremony. _ The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brown, Medicine Hat and the groom is, a son of Mrs. A. Williams, Toronto, Ont. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor- ength A-line dress of sparkling, silver-and-white crepe and Ve netian lace, with elbow-length sleeves and lace train. Her chapel veil cascaded from a coronet headpiece. Silver shoes and elbow length white gloves completed her ensemble and she carried a cascading bouquet of Johannahill roses and stephano sis. Identical costumes were chos en by the bride’s attendants, maid-of-honor Carol Schafer, Frances Campbell and Darlene Brown. Gowns were floor-length, strapless A-line style in tur quoise with overdress of blue green chiffon. Headresses were of daisies and silver shoes com pleted their attire. Their cas cading thouguts were of white shsta daisies intermingled with yellow and white ribbon. Flower-girl Lori Gail Brown wore a gown identical to that of the bride and carried a mat ching bouquet. Ron Craven was best man, with groomsmen Ole Johnson and Brian Bray. Brent Craven was ringbearer and ushers in cluded Scott Bennie and Ron Sakamoto. The wedding service was con ducted by Archdeacon J. Carter, with Mrs. Dorothy Olmstead at the organ, who played ‘Because’ during signing of the register and “Hawaiian Wedding Song”’. Included among the 120 guests attending a reception at Con naught Golf Club were out-of towners from Vancouver, Stel ler, Edmonton, Peace River, Yellowknife, Toronto, Calgary, Yorkton, Indian Head, Qu’ Ap pelle, Senate, Brooks, ‘Radcliff, ‘Houston, Texas and Kennedy, ‘Sask. A flower-decked candelabra centred with three-tiered wed ding cake graced the bride’s table where a toast was pro posed by Roy Parker. For a honeymoon in Califor nia Mrs. Craven chose a two piece travelling costume of frosted green crepe, comple mented by matching hat and ac cessories. The couple will reside in Med icine Hat. MR.
