Spurgeon-Stangle Ceremony ReadElizabeth Spurgeon became the bride of Raymond A. Stangle during a double ring service read by the Rev. Samuel E. Keller at seven o’clock, Wednesday evening, August 4, in the Flora Church of the Brethren. *The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Minnie Spurgeon of Flora and the late Lawrence Spurgeon. The bridegroom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stangle of Idaville.Mr. and Mrs. Richard Spurgeon of Flora attended the couple. Mr. Spurgeon is a brother of the bride. Mrs. Spurgeon was attired in a brown and beige two piece dress complemented with white accessories and a white carnation' corsage.The couple is residing on Rt. lt Idaville. He is a graduate of Onward High School and is an employe of the White County Highway Department. She attended Flora school and is employed by Stephen A. Young Corporation.
