Emporia, Kansas, Thursday, August 19, 1985THEocietyBranstetter-CorrickThe First Presbyterian Church was the setting for the marriage Saturday morning,. Aug. 14th, of Grace Branstetter and Mr, Franklin E. Corrick, The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold White, 2014 West Eighth Ave„ and Mr. Corrick is the son of Mr, and Mrs. Franklin Corrick, Topeka. The Rev, Samuel B. Maier read the double ring service, Miss .Texas Luedtke was the organist and Mr. Paul Graham was the soloist. Messrs. Fred and William Roberts, Woodland Park, Colo., were the candlelighters, Miss Cynthia White, Woodland Park, and Miss Julia Lowe were the flowergirls, and Mr. Larry Lowe was the ringbearer. ;The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a sheath style seashel! pink dress with a batteau neckline and elbow length sleeves. A flange of self fabric detailed the waistline and iloating panels held with a how accented the back of the skirt. She wore a pink pillbox hat and veil and carried a bouquet of white orchids and white carnations. Mrs. Sherman Price, Kansas City, was the matron of honor, Mrs. William Stolfus was 'the bridesmatron and Miss An-nabelle Corrick, sister of the bridegroom, was the bridesmaid. They wore street length dresses of lavender crystal charm and matching veils and hats. Each carried a long stemmed pink rose. Mr. Ted Woodbury, Leoti, was the best man; Messrs. Neal Isaacs and Dennis Michaels,Overland Park, were groomsmen and Mr. A, B. White, Woodland Park, brother of the bride; Mr. William Morris, Wichita, and Mr. Leigh Johnson, Osage City, were the ushers.The reception which followed the ceremony was held in the church parlor. Those who assisted were Mesdames Ben Lowe and Fay Roberts, sisters of the bride, and Mrs, A. B. White, all of Woodland Park; Mrs. Robert Karr, Lenexa, and Mesdames Dean Whitmore and Roy Turney.The bride was graduated from the College of Emporia, was a post graduate student at Simpson College, Indianola, Iowa,‘ and will receive her Master of Science degree this month from Kansas State Teachers, College. She will teach this fall in Te-cumseh. Mr. Corrick, also a graduate of the College of Emporia, was a post graduate student at George Washington University, Washington, D, C., and at Kansas State Teachers College. He is employed as the vocational co-ordinator of the Kansas Neurological Institute in Topeka.Out-of-town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. John M. Habluetzel, Wamego; Messrs. Fay Roberts and Bart White, Woodland Park; Mrs. Leigh Johnson, Osage City; Mr. and Mrs. Steadman Ball, Atchison; Mr. and Mrs. James D. Branstetter,. Eureka; Mr. and Mrs. .
