Street-Oldacre Wedding To Take Place September 2Mrs. Blakey Street of Greensboro, N. C., announces the engagement of her daughter, Jane Peter to Mr. James Forrest Scott Old-acre of Cullman.Miss Street was “born in Char-lottsville, Va,, and received her education in the schools in Greensboro, where her mother is an associate professor of home economics at the Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina. Miss Street received her degree of Bachelor of Science in home economics from the Woman's College in 1946. For the past two years she has held a teaching fellowship in Child Welfare at the State University of Iowa, and received her Master’s degree there this August.Mr. Oldacre is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J, M Oldacre of this city. He attended the Cullman schools, and graduated from St Bernard College in 1947. At.present he is a student in the School of Architecture at Alabama Polytechnic Institute in Auburn, Ala. He served two and one-half years in the Army Air Corps overseas. ■The wedding will take place in ’Greensboro, N. C.s September 2, at5 p. m. at the Episcopal church.!* 1After a wedding tour of the Smokies, they will be at home at 371 North College Street, Auburn, Ala.Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Oldacre, of Cullman, will attend the wedding of their son, after which they will motor to Washington, D. C, to visit their daughter, Mrs. L. E. Creel, Jr., (the former June Oldacre}.
