MR. AM) MRS. PHILIP TABETof the newlywed couple at theYolanda Romero and Philip Tabet were recently united in marriage in a double ring ceremony conducted by the Rev. Albert Gallegos at the Our Lady of Helen Catholic Church in Bolen.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Willie Romero of River Road and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Tabet. 1516 Velta Dr.For her wedding, the bride chose a white princess gown of sheer polyester with a high neckline and a front and back bib and long fitted sleeves of Spanish lace edged by Cluny lace ruffles. Venice lace motifs were scattered across the front of the skirt and the attached chapel length train. The hem was finished by a deep Spanish lace flounce. She also wore a Camelot trimmed in Spanish lace and a ribbon bow which held her three tiered fingertip veil with the lower tier accented by Cluny lace.Best man at the ceremony was Ray Sanchez of Belen and maid of honor was his wife, Mrs. Carol Sanchez.Bridesmaids were Gloria Romero, sister of the bride; Renee Tabet. sister of the groom; Mary Chavez and Phyllis Castillo.Groomsmen were Martin I*ake, Frankie Maestas, Russell Sanchez and Toby Romero.The bridesmaids were at tired in sheer blue polyester floor length gowns featuringan off the shoulder square neckline, slightly raised waistline and short sleeves tiered with ruffles. Embroidered trim accented the waistline and hemline ruffles.The maid of honor wore a polyester A line floor length gown of turquoise blue with short flowing sleeves accented with an empire cape.Approximately 600 guests attended a reception in honorKnights of Columbus hall in Belen.After a honeymoon trip to Southern California, the couple will reside in Las Cruces where the groom is attending New Mexico State University.The bride is a graduate of Belen High School and later attended the University of New Mexico.
