Thomas Opett of Ridge Street, Honesdale, have announced the engagement of ther daughter, Suzanne Jane to Thomas James Taaffe Jr., son of Mr. Thomas Taaffe Sr. of Honesdale and the late Mrs. Taaffe.The bride-elect is a graduate of Honesdale High School and St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing, Carbondale, and is presently a member of the nursing staff at Liberty Maimonides Hospital, Liberty, N.Y.Mr. Taaffe, also a graduate of Honesdale High School, is pres--ently attending Butler Univer-J sity, Indianopolis, Ind. He is a , member of Alpha Phi Omega, honorary service fraternity, and is an honor cadet in the Butler Air Force ROTC.A November wedding is planned.
