Former resident married June 18Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Caudel Jr.Sharon Peach, a former Mt. Carmel resident, and Herbert V. Caudel Jr., were married June 18, 1995, in the Canterbury Wedding Chapel of the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas.Attending the wedding were Stacey and Chris Angle, daughter and son-in-law of the bride; Esther Fontanyi of Bridgeport, the bride’s longtime friend; and Michael Caudel, son of thegroom.While touring the western United States on their honeymoon, the couple visited such points of interest as the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, San Diego Zoo, La Habra, Morrow Bay, the Madonna Inn, the Hearst Castle, San Francisco, Santa Rose, the vineyards of Napa Valley, Tahoe National Forest, Reno, and the Great Salt Lake.The new Mrs. Caudel is employed by the City of Evansville, (Ind.) as a supervisor for the Joint Department of Central Dispatch/911. Mr. Caudelis retired military, havingserved 28 years in the U.S. Army, serving two tours of duty in both Germany and Vietnam, and is a two-time Bronze Star Medal recipient
