She is a graduate of Chamberlain High School in Tampa and the University of Southern Mississippi where she received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in speech pathology. She isemployed with Bay Area Rehabilitation Services in Brandon, Fla.The future groom is the grandson of Ressie Mae Barnes of Hueytown, Ala. He is a graduate of R.H. Watkins High School and the University of Southern Mississippi where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.The wedding will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 1 at First Baptist Church in Laurel. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
