The focal point in the decoration of the altar area was an arched candelabrum holding pink tapers with poms, gladioli and greenery flanked by baskets of gladioli in pastel rainbow colors. Smaller half moon candelabra were used beside the baskets and tree candelabra were placed near the organ and piano.Pews were marked by j pink flowers, ribbon and I greenery and the guest register was placed next to a bouquet of carnations in rainbow colors.Miss Carol Loftis attended j her sister as maid of honor. | Bridesmaids were Misses i Jo Ellen Stevenson and Ann ; Parker of Gilmer and Mrs. Kathy Bunt of Nacogdoches, j Junior bridesmaid was Miss i Rebecca Loftis. sister of the j bride. They wore formal gowns in pastel rainbow ! colors. The sheer overdresses were embossed with pastel butterflies, accented at the slipper level with pastel velvet ribbon. They wore pastelTracy Dalton of Dallas, cousin of the bride, was flower girl, and Jimmy Ray Isonhood of Gilmer was ring bearer.Scott Fenlaw served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Doyce Loftis Jr., brother of the bride; Russ Carter, Burba Denson and junior groomsman was Tommy Loftis, brother of the bride. Ushers were David Chrisp and Greg Kendall. Candles were lighted by Tommy Loftis and Scott Sisson, cousin of the bride.A reception was held after the ceremony at the Fellowship Hall of the church. Baskets of rainbow-colored flowers and standing candelabra were placed near the bride’s table, which was centered by an arrangement of pastel daisies, asters carnations and other flowers i in a branched crystal and silver epergne.
