Sarah Darleen Winirifred. daughter of Mr and 'Mrs.* Alfred James Mitchell of 917 Russell St, exchanged vows with Mr. Wesley Bryan Paddock, son lt;ff Mr. and Mrs. , Martin J. Paddock of Rivers. Manitoba. Rev. E. E. Austin officiated , at the double ring ceremony.The bride chose a gown of organza and chantttly lace. The bodice featured a basque waistline accented with lace and irredescent toilettes, a high sabrina neckline and lily point sleeves. The very full skirt with* a matching applique of lace motifs and a sweeping overskirt extended into a chapel train. A crown of irredes-cent sequins and organza held her shoulder length veil. Site carried a cascade of red sweetheart roses and fern. ■ iMrs. Joyce . Hart, sister of the bride was . matron of honor,. Eleanor Mitchell, sister of the bride and Joan Maltby, cousin of the bride acted bridesmaids. They wore identical cocktail length gowns of organza In pink, blue and yellow respectively, featuring fitted bodice with V-neoMlne and large collars. They wore matching headdresses and white gloves and shoes. They carried cascades of blue, pink and lavender feathered carnations., Brenda Lyons, a fkrwer girl in a dainty white, full skirted dress and accessories, carried a basket of pink sweetheart roses.Jimmie Drummond, as ringbear-er, was dressed as the groom's attendants.The groom, dressed in a black tuxedo, was attended by his brother, Kenneth as best man, John Fast of ‘Rivers and Frank Black of Oak River. The attendants wore white formad jackets with black trousers and red boutenniers.Mrs. E. iE. Austin played the wedding music and accompanied Miss. Merrilyn Gurr, as she sang, “The Wedding Prayer”, before the ceremony and “O Perfect Love”, during the signing of the register.The bride’s mother wore a pink sheath dress with pleated organza cumbeitjund, matching jacket and white accessories. iHer corsage was ■ white feathered carnations.The groom's mother wore a Hlac dress with white accessories and a white corsage of feathered carnations.A turkey dinner reception was held at the C.O.F. Hall.The toast to the bride proposed by iMr. Everette Taylor of Onan-ole, cousin of the bride was ably ■responded to by the groom. Kenneth Paddock, best man, read the telegrams.Rev. Walter Fowke of Rivers acted as master of ceremonies during a shorf program consisting of musical numbers by Mr. Clarence Lang, Mr. and Mrs. Selby Smith, and Miss Merrilyn Gurr with several friends speaking on behalf of the bride and groom.iFor travelling the bride, wore whKe accessories and a corsage of pink sweekheart roses.Upon returning from a trip to the west coast, via Banff, Alberta and return through the U.
