After a number of gemes were played and prizes given the winners, a tempting luncheonwas served in the dining room at tables prettily decorated with vases of garden flowers. The hostess for the day were Mrs. M. Hilmer, Mrs. E. Klitzke, Mrs. J. Klitzke, Mrs. H. Millies, Mrs. F. Millies and Mrs. Herman Millies. On August 30th another social meeting wil lbe held.Weddings:eKEUMREI-MEYERS.On Saturday, August 11th, at 6 P. M., the Reverend W. A. Brauer united in marriage Miss Ann Krumrei, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Krumrei of 100 Gostlin street, and Mr. Kenneth Lake Meyers, son of Mr. John B. Meyers of Indiana Harbor, Ind. The ceremony was held at St. John’s Lutheran church in the presence of relatives and immediate friends of the bride and groom.To the strains of Lohengrin’s wedding march the bride entered the church on the arm of her father who gave her away in marriage. She was becomingly dressed in a violet chiffon dress with velvet hat and satin slippers to match andcarried a lovely bride's bouquet of pink tea roses and lillies-of-the-valley, enshower.Mrs. Ted Ballard, a cousin of the bride, acted as matron of honor and was dressed in orchid chiffon and accessories to match. Her bouquet was fashioned of pink tea roses and orchid larkspur.The procession was met at the altar by the groom and Mr. David I.. Cook who served the groom as best man.Following the ceremony an elaborate dinner was served to 60 guests at the bride’s home. Slender tapers of pink and green flowers of the season and bridal delicacies adorned the tables and rooms. A huge wedding cake topped with a horseshoe tied with ribbon adorned the bride's table.Mr. and Mrs. Meyers will make their home at 106 Gostlin. street. They have the best wishes of their many friends.The out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. H. Bartling, Mrs. H. Hogue, Mrs. Max Zieroth, Mr. Glen Lewis, the Misses Viola and Lucille Stuenkel, Mr. and Mrs. John Wlikening, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Meiner, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Meiner, Jr., Miss Louise Meiner, the Messrs. John B. Meyers, Jr. and Emmett Meyers, Buddy Zierath, and Willard Meiner, all of Chicago, and Mr. Austin Alden Perkins of Chicago, Miss Ann Hend-ershott of Iowa, Mr. Don Barnhouse of Chicago, Mrs. M. Burd of Hollywood, Calif., and John B. Meyers, Forrest Meyers and David Cook, all of Indiana Harbor.KOCKLER-ALLE1V.Miss Margaret Kockler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kockler of Walter street, and Kenneth Allen were married at St. Joseph’s church at eight o’clock on Thursday morning, August 17.Miss Marcella Allen, sister of the groom, served as maid of honor and wore a Nile green georgette gown and carried a corsage of pink tea roses. Mrs. William King, matron of honor, wore orchid georgette and carried tea roses.The bride was very pretty in a gown of white satin of the hoop skirt style and a beautiful veil.
