Muhlenberg fires its payroll clerkGREENVILLE. Ky. (AP) — The Muhlenberg Fiscal Court has officially fired its payrollclerk.The county governing board voted 3-2 on Tuesday to fire Susan Hancock on the recommendation of Judge-Executive Jimmy Brown. -Brown said he fired Hancock July 31 because she was inefficient and disinterested in her job. Hancock has maintained that she was fired without cause. She wants to appeal thedecision.I ft
