William Clearv performed thedouble-ring ceremony and massThe bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hoeing, R.R. 7, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs Victor 0. Sickbert. 68 East South Street, Bloomfield, Indiana.Two bouquets of yellow and white snaps, tiger lilies and ivy decorated the altar along with seven-branch candelabras trimmed with ivy. Two palms stood at the back of the altar. Ivory bows with ivy and leather leaves accented the pews.Mrs. Andrew Ariens was organist and Mrs. Keith Garfield and Jeff Hufford were soloists.The bride chose an ivory organza gown with soft taffeta appliqued leaf designs on the Dolman pouf sleeves and around the hemline of the skirt. The skirt flowed into a caihedral-length train. The fitted bodice was accented with a self fabric sash tied in a bow ai the back. The veil was an ivory finger-tip length bridal illusion featuring a rolled edge secured to a bridal wreath of silk flowers. She wore diamond earrings, a gift of the groom She carried a tear-drop bouquet featuring gardenias and stephanotis. The center gardenia was the bride’s going-Mrs Alan Meyer of Greens-burg was matron of honor and Ijois Angle of Rushville was maid of honor.Bridesmaids were Christine Hoeing, sister of the bride of Indianapolis, Mrs. James Daugherty, sister of the bride of Terre Haute and Mrs. Dan I-acy, sister of the bride of Rushville.Alan Sickbert, brother of the groom of Terre Haute, and David Kreilein, cousin of the groom from Cincinnati, served as best men.Groomsmen were Dr. Jerry Stahl of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Michael Hockney of New York and Earl Hopkins III of Bloomington, IndianaUshers were Greg Hoeing and Dan Hoeing, brothers of the bride of Rushville.Jill Daugherty, niece of the bride of Terre Haute, and Jessica I.acy, niece of the bnde of Rushville, were flower girls They entered with their mothers who were bridal attendants. The dresses worn by the bridal attendants and the flower girls were made by the mother of theAndrew Schroeder and Greg Schroeder served as altar boys. Ed Meyer, uncle of the bride, served as lay minister.Carole, Barbara, Ann, Rebecca. Mary Beth, Sarah and Amy Meyer, cousins of the bnde, presented gifts during the mass.Mrs. Jeff Williams registered guesls.Mrs. A J. Meyer and Mr and Mrs Joseph Hoeing, grandparents of the bnde. and Mrs Ice Rohleder. grandmother of the groom, were among the guests at the weddingA buffet reception and dance was held at the home of the bride's parents for approximately 450 guests. The three-tier wedding cake, surrounded by nine groom’s cakes, was decorated with fresh flowers and ivy. It was baked by Mrs. James Meyer, aunt of the bnde. Serving the guests were Judy King and I-orri Civils of Indianapolis and Michelle Peduto of Shelbyville.The rehearsal dinner was held at the Elks Club Friday, July 29 for 35 guests.
