Donna Hoffman Becomes Bride of Allen GrundstadMiss Donna Jean Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Lester H. Hoffman of Whittier, was married Aug, 4 to Allen Lee Grundstad, son of Mrs. A#J, Grundstad of Marshalltown and the late Mr. Grundstad. The ceremony was solemnized at Elim Lutheran church in Marshalltown with the Rev. Walter Rasmussen officiating.The bridal gown was fashioned of white chiffon over crepe trimmed with Swiss Guipere lace and featured long, full sleeves, a high-rise bodice and a V-neck-line. Her cathedral length mantilla was bordered in matching lace and caught to a floral band of red sweetheart roses. She carried a nosegay of forever yours red roses and baby’s breath.Mrs. Ronald Lough of Coralville, sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Bonnye Lee of Shenandoah and Karen Grundstad of Marshalltown, sister of the groom.Theix gowns were of white batiste, floe Iced with red rosebuds and featured square necklines and puffed bonnet sleeves. Their flower were replicas of the brides.John Grundstad of Iowa City served his brother as best man. Groomsmen wereMichael Collins of Marshalltown and Koi-ert Grundstad of Marshalltown, brother of the groom.Mara Heald of Silver Springs, Md. and Jennifer Lough of Coralville, cousin and niece of the bride, were flower girls. Seating guests were Donovan Hoffman of Whittier, brother of the bride, Andrew Fred” Hull of Marshalltown, Ricky licaslev of Marshalltown and Mark Lough-ridge of Mankato, Minn, John Kightling-er of Peoria, HI. sang The Wedding ^ong” and Stephen Melvin of Marshalltown sang The Lord’s Prayer. “After the ceremony a reception was held ill the Fellowship hall.Following a three-week wedding trip to Europe the newlweds will reside at !oo~1/2 North Johnson in Iowa City, Uoth are graduates of the University of Iowa where she affiliated with the Alpha Heita Pi xSorority and he with the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. The bride alo attended the University of Caen in France. The bridegroom is employed by Iowa State Da/ik Trust Co. of Iowa City.A rehearsal dinner was given Friday evening by the groom's mother, at the Kim-wood Country Club in Marshalltown,
