Cheeks of Aiken. The bridegroom is the son of Rev. and Mrs. 11. E. Wyalt of this city.The Rev. G. E. Snyder, the bride’s pastor, assisted by the bridegroom'* father, Rev. Wyatt, performed the double ring ceremony.Miss Voncetl Smith, organist, and Mrs. Roberta Redd, vocalist, provided a program of wedding music. Mrs, Redd sang Because and The lord’s Prayer. The traditional wedding marches were used.Palms, floor baskets of white pompoms, carnations and gladioli and tail candelabra holding white lighted candle* were used to form a setting for the ceremony. An areh decorated with palm leave* an awhite satin-covered kneeling benchwere placed at the altar.The bridegroom had as his best man Mr. Wesley Clark of Aiken.The usher groomsmen were Mr.Donald C. Cheeks, Jr., brother of the bride, Mr. Joe Wyatt, brother of the bridegroom, Mr. D»n Earl Bryant of Vaucluse, cousin of the bride, and Mr. Richard Johnson of Vaucluse, also a cousin of bride.Bridesmaid*Mis* Brenda Fulmer of Granite-ville was the bride’s maid of honor. She wore a gown of orchid peaude sole fashioned with a full skirt and fitted sleeveless bodice with round gathered neckline. She wore long white gloves and carried a touquet of asters ana camatioitaking | in pastel shades.* Evelyn J dd of Vauclusewas the senior bridesmaid, and thejunior bridesmaids were Misses Ka ie Widcner of Vaucluse, cousin of the bride. Judy Wyatt of Aiken, sister of the bridegroom, and Diane Barnes and Gayle Sills of | T.'tngley, cousins of the bride. Their gowns were fashioned like that of the maid of honor and were in pastel shades, Miss Redd wearing yellow, Miss Widcner, pink, MissesWyatt and Barnes wearing mint green, and Miss Sills, orchid. They carried bouquets of pastel asters and carnations blending with the shades of their dresses.H green eyelet embroidery sheath dress with matching accessories.Her corsage was an orchid.ReceptionA reception was held in the church Social hall immediately after the ceremony.The bride’s table was overlaidwith a white linen imported doth and centered with the three tiered; cake encircled with white cat tuitions. The bride-elect wore a navy sheath dress with white accessories.The flower girl was little Miss j Mrs. Ernest Johnson, Jr. and Mrs.Phyllis Widcner of Vaucluse, cousin of the bride. She wore a pale blue peau de soie dress which had embroidered yellow roses. She wore a matching halo and carried a basket of rose petals. The ring-bearer was Master Gerald Kirkland of Vaucluse.Hrlde’M Gown *The br|le, given in marriage by her father, was lovely In her wedding gown of pure white Chantilly lace over satin. The fitted bodice had a rounded neckline outlined in a leaf pattern embroidered In seed pearls. The longsleeves ended In points over thewrists, and the full skirt swept into a graceful chaiei train. Her veil the : of imported illusion was attached to * bandeau embroidered in seed pearls. She carried a white Bible topped with a white orchid.The bride’s mother wore a sheath dress of beige peau de sol whichwas embroidered with pink andgreen flowers. Her accessories were pink and green, and she worean orchid corsage.The bridegroom’s mother choseJohn Bryant, all of Vaucluse, aunts of the bride.
