Lovely Miss Mary Anne Chiaroni and Robert Theodore Ste venson were united in the bonds of matrimony before the altar of St. Bernard's Catholic church, Eureka, in a double-ring cere mony performed by the Rev. Father Paul C. Diebels on Sunday afternoon, August 11. Large cathedral baskets of ‘pink gladiolishd white stock and chrysanthemums decked the church for the bridal occa sion, the pews marked with matching satin ribbon, and organ music played by Miss with lace wristlets to match. Betty Stempka of Eureka sounded through the church as the bride and her attendants made their stately procession up the aisle. Soloist was Miss Bernardine Giannini of Eureka. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Chiaroni, Jr., of Eureka, was escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father. She made a beau tiful picture in her gown of white Chantilly lace and pleat ed nylon net, its tiny fitted waistline flowing into a long ‘train of the lace at the back, ‘the front of the skirt alternat ing ruffles of the lace with pleated nylon net. The bodice was finished with a Sabrina neckline and _ Short sleeves, MR Her imported nylon net veil cascaded to the fingertips from a halo crown of orange blos soms and Chantilly lace to match her gown. She carried a white prayer book with a white orchid marker and a shower bouquet of stephanotis. Attending the bride as ma tron of honor was Mrs. Donald (Christine) Martin of Chico, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Dale (Saralee) Parks and Miss Carolyn Wigg of Eureka.
