MISS KARIN PARISH KURZ Christopher Todd ClaisseKarin Kruz And Chris Claisse Announce Wedding PlansKarin Parish Kurz and Christopher Todd Claisse announced their engagement to family and friends last Labor Day weekend.Karin is the daughter of Mrs. Carolyn M Kurz of San Diego and the late Ronald A Kurz. She is the granddaughter of Gladys Parish of San Diego and the late Floyd Parish, and of the late Julius and Ella Kurz.Chris is the son of Mr and Mrs Hayden E. Claisse of Wellesley Road in San Marino. He is the grandson of Regina Claisse of Phocmz. Ariz., and the late Edward Claisse and of Mr and Mrs. Ralph Guppy of Myrtle Beach. S.C.The bride-elect attended Patrick Henry High School m San Diego, graduating in 1991. She attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she was a memberof Sigma Kappa Sorority Karin graduated in 1995 prior to attending the University of California at Los Angeles School of Design, where she graduated in 2001. She is a designer with Ryan-Young Interiors in San Diego.Chns attended Carver Elementary and Huntington Middle schools. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1989 prior to attending the University of California at San Diego. A member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Chris graduated from UCSD in 1994 and in 2002 from the University of California at Irvine with his master 's degree in business administration.The couple met while working on the film “Galaxy Quest in Los Angeles They arc planning a late October wedding in San Diego
