ErnestFrancis.Seven branch candelabra and vases of white gladioli, carnations, daisies, and baby’s breath were placed at the altar for the service. Greenery and white satin bows marked the pewsThe bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Bernard Schafer, route 1, Ohio; the bridegroom is the son of Mrs Virginia Pitcher, Delmar, N.Y.Presented at the altar by her fatht* and given in marriage By her parents, thebride chose a floor-lengthwhite qiana gown, featuring a high neckline, yoked bodice, and cap sleeves. Vemse lace accented the gown, chapel train. Juliet cap, and fingertip veil A cascade of white Butterfly roses, stephanotis, and blue baby’s breath comprised the bridal bouquet The bride’s jewelry included diamond earrings given by the bridegroom.Preceding the bride down the aisle were her sister, Mrs. Catherine Cavanaugh, matron of honor; a cousin, Carla Schafer, as bridesmaid; a sister-in-law, Mrs Mary Schafer, and friends, Mrs Nancy Ross and Mrs Patricia Senneff, brides-matrons. Blue poly-knit dresses and chiffon capes were worn by the women, along with hair clasps of pink roses and baby’s breath Each woman also carried a Tiffany colonial bouquet of bridal pink roses, white daisies, and blue baby’s breathStanding with Mr. Pitcherwere Michael Gearhart, best man; Christopher Judd, Richard Slater. Loren Cavanaugh, brother in-law of the bride, and James Schafer, brother of the bride, all groomsmen.
