(IANNOUNCING THE ENGAGEMENT of their daughter, Mary Catherine to Airman Robert Len James, are Mr. and Mrs. Fred E Porter of Iola. The future bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lendon P. James of Vidor. A graduate of Vidor High School, the bride-elect attended Lamar State College of Technology in Beaumont. She is a member of the National Honor Society. The future bridegroom is graduate of Orangefield High School, Orangefield, and attended Lamar Tech before entering the Air Force, presently stationed at Lackland AFB, where he is undergoing technical training as an electronics communications spec lalist.
