Eugene Walter Bordenet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles V. Bordenet of Fairmont, West Virginia, took place Sunday, August 10, at 10:30 a. m. in Our Lady of Peace church. Rev. Max Bortieri officiated in the double ring ceremony.The bridal party entered under an arch formed of crossed sabres as part of a military ceremony , conducted by a group of local V. F. W. members.The lovely bride, escorted by her father, wore a full length gown of white frosted and glittered net with bouffant skirt. Her short tulle veil was gathered toa pearl and bead studded tiara. She carried a white orchid with stephanotis and wore a pearl necklace, a gift of Mrs. OscarHernandez of Ysleta.Miss Yolanda Aguilar, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Her dress was of yellow nylon net with bouffant skirt, ballerina length, worn with stole with cor-1 sage and floral headpiece to match. Bridesmaids were Miss Delia Ogas in pink, Miss Faviola Hernandez in lilac, Miss Irene Olazaba in pink, Mias Concha Ramirez in nile green, Miss Ar-mida Valenzuela in blue and Miss Elma Hernandez in lilac. Each wore a floral headpiece and carried a corsage to match. Ring bearers were Miss Sally Deanda in aqua, and Miss Ella Cano in lilac. Little Misses Mary Ann Sanchez dressed in salmon pink and Norma Granado in white with pink ribbon trim were flower girls.Best man was Lt. Richard Hut. to of Holly Hill, S. C. Ushers who formed the miltary guard were Pablo Rivera Jr., Charles Wade, Louis Deanda, Ted Sanchez, Sgt. Billy Ramos and John Sotelo.A prelude of organ music and j music during mass was presented by Mrs. Charles Mudd. Included were “Evening Star by Wagner, and “O Promise Me. During mass Mrs. Mudd sang “Ave Maria’’ by Schubert, “O Sanctissima by Barnby, and for communion hymn the ‘Ave Verum Corpus by Mozart.For her daughter’s wedding tne bride’s mother wore a two-piece grey dress with white corsage and j accessories.A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Toltec cafe. The bridal cake, decorated with white spun sugar roses and silver balls, was served with punch and cocktail sandwiches. Those assisting at the reception were Miss Ernestine Al- I varado, Mrs. Lily Ogas, aunt of lt;the bride from Monahans, Mrs. L. 1 A. Ramirez. Following the wedding trip to West Virginia the couple will return to Fort Hood, where Sgt. Bordenet is stationed.g
