Miss Kathryn Sprow Beeomes Bride Of Richard D. ShivelyMiss Kathryn Elizabeth Sprow, daughter oi Mr. and Mrs. Oeorge B. Spirow of Fayetteville, and Richard Duffleid Shively, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Wallace Shively of Cham-bersburg, R. r. i, were united In marriage Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Fayetteville UnitedBrethren Church, with Rev. Harry E. Zech officiating. The bride was given In marriage by her father, the single ring ceremony being performed before a candle-lit altar-.The maid of honor was Miss Bernice I. Shively, a sister of the bridegroom.Guy E, Sprow of Chambersburg, brother of the bride, was best man. Those acting as ushers were Joseph Shively of Wajnesboro, a brother of the bridegroom, and Garnet C. Sprow of Fayetteville, a brother of the bride.Alice Louise Sprow of Chambersburg, the bride’s niece, and Harriett Shively, youngest sister of the bridegroom, were cnndle-bearers.The flower girl was Janet Marie Sprow.A fifteen-minute recital of vocal and instrumental music preceded the ceremony. Mrs. Harry E. Zech, wife of the pastor, was piano accompanist with Mrs. Joseph Shivelyof Waynesboro, a classmate of the bride at Shippensburg State Teachers College, as soloist.A receptidn was held after the t- ceremony at the home of the bride’s re parents for members of the im-ia, mediate families. A wedding, tripla haf been planned by Mr. and Mrs.A Shively through the New Englandk. states.Both Mr. and Mrs. Shively were graduated from the Chambersburg High School in 1028.
