CAUSESSUITOR’SARRESTMother Alleges Sellers Enticed Her Daughter From HomeDEFENDANT GIVES BONDErnest Sellers, aged 19, was arrested yesterday afternoon by Constable McElhaney on a charge preferred by Miss Mabel Farrer, aged 18, BhultKtown. Sellers furnished bond in Judge Custer's court and was released.The mother of the plaintiff is a widow who makes a-.portion of her living by taking boarders. Her story related to the prosecuting attorney, Walters, a result of which was Sellers' arrest, is to the effect that young Sellers came to the Farrer home to board about a year ago. The mother told the prosecutor that Sellers talked of marrying Miss Farrer but gave as a reason for not doing so, that his parents objected. Under a pretense that he was taking | the girl to visit his relatives in Hartford City and neighboring cities. Sellers, according to the mother, obtained the girl’s consent to go with 'him to another city, where the moth-er told the prosecutor that they lived together.Later the girl was brought home-, by her mother. Sellers also-return-; j ed to the city, where he -was eni- ( ployed. August 6th, Miss Farrer gave birth to a child.
