Bissell-Pickrennttsinr-ief-rlk-m,Jo/•daan■8.n-enn-n,g.r.csiwven,12On August 11, at 8 p.m. in the Church of Christ of Mount Dora, Miss Barbara Bissell became the bride of J.M, Pickren.Mr. and Mrs. George Bissell of Mount Dora are the parents of the bride and the groom is the son of Mrs. Bennie Pickren, also of Mount Dora.The double ring ceremony was officiated by Mr. Cletus Stutzman with Mr. Vernon Means of Leesburg as soloist.The church was decorated with candel-abrums and sprays of white glads and fugi mums.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length formal gown of satin and imported lace which she designed herself. Accenting her gown was a train and a full veil of silk illusion.She carried a bouquet of white roses.Attending the bride and wearing floor length gowns of deep pink Avanti were, Mrs. Paul Naskins, Mrs. Bill Kennedy of DeLand and Miss Susan Pelton of Medma, Ohio.Mothers of both the bride and groom were also dressed in pink.Paul Pickren, brother of the groom served as best man with James Pickren of Lockhart and Paul Naskins serving as ushers.Youngest members of the wedding party were Miss Robin Rewis, flower girl and Master Jeff Means as ring bearer.A reception followed the wedding at the home of the bride's parents.Thoss assisting were.* Mrs. William Godtel, Mrs. Bobbie Clement and Miss Mary Ann Tanner.After a trip through the Eastern United States the couple will be at home on Osage Drive in Ola Beach, Mount Dora.NEWS from yourPHARMACISTBy BILL SEABROOKHere is a word of caution— never, never pluck hairs from your nostrils.
