Lotter. 11309 Eggleston avenue.The bride was gowned in white chiffon and lace with a long train. She wore a long tulle veil, held in place by a tiara of orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of white roses. The maid of honor was the sister of the bnde. Margaret O Hearn who was attired in a white embroidered Swiss gown with a sweetheart hat edged in blue velvet.The bridesmaids. Patricia Voltz. a cousm of the bride: Marion Kopp, Mrs. Helen Cernosia and Kathryn O’Hearn. were dressed alike in white embioidered Swiss and each carried a bouquet of white and blue flowers. George P.* Lotter. stationed at Fort Dix. returned to act as best man for his brother. Ushers were James O'Hearn, Lawrence Bernier and William Hall.A wedding breakfast was served at the Pipe o' Peace Golf club for one hundred relatives and friends and 200 guests were greeted at a reception that evening. After a short honeymoon. Mr and Mrs. Lotter will reside at 11536 Harvard avenue.Cogswell-MeyerIn a simple but beautiful wedding service. Marjorie Cogswell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cogswell, 13842 Forest avenue. Dolton, became the bride of ElmerMeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Meyer. Lincoln avenue. Dol- i ton. August 9 at 7 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. Otis Wassom of the Open Bible church, Riverdale, officiated.The bride was dressed in a white sheer formal gown. Her head dreis was a halo of small j white roses over a finger tip veil, j Her bouquet was also of white . roses. Her only attendant was ( Jean Campbell, who was dressed in i a blue sheer formal, styled the i same as the bride's. She carried a i bouquet of red roses The best man c was Charles Meyer, brother of the 1 groom. 1The bride's father gave her in marriage. During the ceremony j Betty Ann Fisher of Dolton, sang. J 'I Love You Truly. and “ffivifir i Like a Shepherd Lead Us.” The , home was beautifully decorated in ‘ pink and white crepe paper and s many flowers. (A reception was held later for i about 90 guests. A buffet luncheon was served. The newly-weds left ( the same evening on a week s J honeymoon, going to Niagara Falls and will tour through New York and Pennsylvania. On their I return they will reside in Harvey ( until their home is completed in South Holland.Ot TING AT STARVED ROCKMrs J. E Schmiedl and Janet of 11421 Forest avenue, spent the week-end at Starved Rock state park where they joined a group of officers, wives and friends of the Kankakee ordnance works. They enjoyed a dinner at The Lodge on Saturday. Mr. Schmiedl. Lieut Col. and Mrs. H. R Kadlic completed the party of Roseland people. ___
