Ill• *SKARS-JPHILMPS WEDDTXG./ A very pretty wedding took place on Wednesday of this week at 1 o’clock in the West Hawiey Congregational church, when Miss Martha Louise, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs, George W? Sears, became the bride of Harold Hough Phillips .of Branchville, N. ‘ J, The Church was beautifully decorated with golden rod and, .'evergreen. Miss May Wells of Charlemont played the Lohengrinwedding, march as the bridal party entered the church, and the Mendelssohn march as they withdrew. The bridesmaids were Miss Vila L; Breene of Springfield, classmate of the bride ' at Smith college, Miss Margaret Sears;the bride's sister, MisS Laura Wyker 1 of Bioomfidkl, N. Jv, a cousin of the j groom, Miss Anna Heller of Bushkiii, * Pennsylvania, and Miss Adelaide Kol- lt;bert of Sussex, . N. J. The ushers were U Arthur Walling of Hazlet, N. J., class- 3 mate pf the groom at Trenton' Nor-1 fmal school, Charles Phillis, then groom’s brother, Samuel C.hilds of p Deerfield, a cousin of the bride, Henry i Avery of Charlemont and K. D. Ayers c of Sussex? N. J. jcThe bride wqre an empire gown of t white crepe de chine and carried a r shower bouquet of lilies of the valley.
