Burton, Baldwin Studio) Mr. and Mrs. William Jonathan TharpWedding vows were repeated by Miss Betty Ann DuPerron of Traverse City andWilliam Jonathan Tharp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tharp of 1325 S. Union Street, Saturday morning, August ?, in ' a 10 a.m. ceremony performed by Rev. Francis Murphy at Immaculate Conception Church. The altar was adorned with arrangements ofwhite carnations.A reception was held at the VFW hall in Traverse City;The bride, daughter of Mrs. Anna DuPerron of R. 2, Lud-ington, and Louis DuPerron, Michigan Veterans’ Facility, Grand Rapids, chose' for her wedding a nylon lace over satin gown, designed with long lace sleeves, empire waistline aeented by a satin bow and floor-length streamers in, the back and, A-line skirt with a double back pleat. Her fioor-length nylon net mantilla was edged in lace and secured bysatin, roses. She carried a bouquet of yellow rosebuds . and white carnations.Maid of honor Joyce Crouch of Kingsley was attired in amint green cotton gown withwhite lace overlay, green satin bow. accented empire waist, floor-length'skirt and puff ball sleeves. Her headpiece was a Dior bow with veiling and she carried a yellow rose. Bridesmaids Valina Tharp, the groom’s . sister, and Lottie Udell of Kalkaska wore gowns like the maid of honor’s accented at the empire waistlines with white' satin bows. Their headpieces and flowers were like the maid of honor’s. Flower girls Anita Bristol and Tammy Tharp wore white satin gowns designed like the other attendants and white satin Dior bows in their hair. They each carried a basket of daisies. Stanley Bristol was •ringbearer.The bridegroom was attended by Roger Zeits, best man, Dan Morgan of Grand Rapidsand Roen Tharp, the groom's brother. James Tharp and Louis DuPerron of Benzoin a seated guests.
