Miss Martha Beach Weds Mr. RichesonTrinity Baptist Church was the setting for the impressive double-ring ceremony which united in marriage Miss Martha Jean Beach and George Leland Richeson Jr., on Saturday, August 9, at 8 p.m. Dr. Leon B. Patterson was the officiating minister. Mrs. Lucile Brehmer at the organ accompanied the soloist, Glenn Morrison sang “The Lord’s Prayer”. Other music played included “Autumn Reverie”, “Sabbath Morning”, “Dearest Jesus, We Await Thee”, “Arioso”, “Andante” and “The Glory of God in Nature”. Large arrangements of lavender gladioli, purple asters and blue chrysanthemums flanked spiral candelabra with lighted tapers and green fern trees, to complement the decor of the altar.The bride is the daughter of A.C. Beach and the late Mrs. Beach, and parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. G.L. Richeson, all of Kerrville. The bride is a graduate of Howard-Payne College and is employed as a teacher in Houston. Assisting in the house party were Misses Denise and Keri Patterson, Vera Skipworth, Jean Ward, Mrs. Bart Brinkman, and Mrs^ L.A. Batterton. Mrs. Art Duston presided at the Bride’s Book.After a honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains the newlyweds will be at home at 1309 Deepwood, Friendswood, Texas. For traveling the bride selected a beige linen dress with full-length pink and beige matching coat and wore beige accessories.Out-of-town guests for the wedding included Mrs. L.A. Bat-* terton and Terry from Huntsville; Mrs. Kathryn Roediger from Houston, and Mr. and Mrs. Art Duston from Alexandria, La. Others came from Austin, Pasadena, McAllen and Brownwood.Friday night, August 8, the rehearsal dinner was hosted at the Golden Ox Restaurant by parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs.G.L.
